Charles River Canoe and Kayak - Rent canoes here in Newton and paddle on
the Charles River. They also have euipment sales. 2401 Commonwealth

North Shore Kayak Outdoor Center. They do an interesting overnight camping
trip to Thacher Island.

Shawsheen River Watershed Association - The Shawsheen River Watershed Association
meets monthly at the Tewksbury Library. Their volunteer membership works on river related
protection projects, runs river cleanups, and great paddling trips. Several of these cleanups
